Gelli Plate Giveaway

I'm excited about Gelli plates! It is a newer kind of printing plate that you can use to create monotypes right at home! It is made from a polymer material. It works well with acrylic paint and cleans up easily. Read more about it here:  http://www.gelliarts.com/pages/faq#sixteen.  There are great video tutorials on the Gelli Arts blog as well as YouTube.
Think of the possibilities.........your own prints, collage, journal pages/covers, fine arts.......your imagination is the limit!

I will be GIVING AWAY one 6" x 6" Gelli plate on my blog October 25th! All you need to do to enter this giveaway is to leave a comment why you want a Gelli plate and what you would do with it. Winner chosen at random and will be notified. The actual Gelli plate will be shipped to you from Gelli Arts.

So let's have some FUN and create Gelli prints!!!

I have never tried one before and would love to add it to my plaster paintings for texture. (I make artwork to make me happy and sell it in support of SEVA to help restore eyesight to people in developing countries.) Thanks for putting me in the draw :)

Gelli plates have been on my wishlist for a while now! A friend of mine has been posting pics on FB of her gelli monoprints, it looks totally addictive. If I win this giveaway I will use it for collage, backgrounds for art prints, snowy day crafty fun with my kids, and I also plan to teach an art class for 7th graders using the gelli plates. Need to find a place where I can order in bulk!

I would love to own a 6"x6" version, I am working on an 8"x10", but it's a bit big for my smaller size art journals... actually I would love to have all the sizes, the big one for canvas and textile and the special round one as well. So I can mix print sizes on top of each other. Addicted sorry.

I just discovered this from your blog post in a Pinterest link. You inspired me to watch the video, which opened my mind to all kinds of possibilities. I would love to try this with fabric to get some batik inspired looks. I work with a group that does science activities with kids - this would be an easy and fun way to explore shapes, texture and art!

Oh my! I just found you because of the gelli plate facebook page. You are one talented lady!!! My 12 year old daughter and I love our gellis. We have only had them for a week or so, but they look like we have had them for several months. We have used them every day in our homeschool, and now have many pages of gorgeous prints to use in making cards, wrapping gifts, and mixed media, not to mention art journals. This has been the best purchase I have made in a long time. It has been fun and very therapeudic for me, as I have fibromyalsia, and it has helped me have a much less pain because of the joy of creating something beautiful without taxing my poor brain! And the freedom of the creativity my daughter has found has been tremendous. We saw the new round plate video today, and it took both of our breath away and we both said: "we have to have that!!" So we would love to win one, but if not, we will be buying one very soon. Thanks for the opportunity, and your amazing website. Blessings to you!
